Digital Clocked Modulation Source / Master Clock

Review

If there is one module that punches above its HP more than any other, it's Pamela's PRO Workout. In just 8HP, it replaces a dedicated master clock, clock divider, clock multiplier, Euclidean rhythm generator, LFO bank, random voltage source, and quantizer. As one ModWiggler user put it: "I nominate Pam because there is no competition for that module."

The eight outputs are fully independent. Each can produce clocked triggers, gates, LFO waveforms, Euclidean patterns, quantized melodies, or random CV — all locked to the master BPM. The division/multiplication range is enormous: x192 to /16384, including non-integer values for polymetric and polyrhythmic relationships that would be fiendishly complex to patch any other way.

The PRO version is the third generation of a beloved lineage. It adds a full-colour hi-res display, cross-output modulation (outputs can modulate each other's parameters), the "Flex" microtiming system for swing, humanize, and bouncing-ball effects, and an expandable CV input architecture via the Axon expanders. It is the beating heart of any performance-oriented rack.
